De Freige suggests having Nasrallah’s speech be tackled during cabinet session

FEBRUARY 2, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Future Parliamentary bloc MP, Nabil De Freige, on Monday suggested raising Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah’s latest speech during the forthcoming cabinet session.

“It is nobody’s right to interpret resolution 1701 the way he deems fit. It is the United Nation’s that is entitled to this task and it has said that what had happened [Hezbollah’s military operation in Shebaa targeting an Israeli convoy] is a breach to resolution 1701,” the lawmaker told the Voice of Lebanon radio station.

However, the MP deplored the terror attack that targeted Lebanese pilgrims in Syria, regretting that such criminal acts have been targeting innocent civilians.

“There are some sides that have been taking decisions to submerge Lebanon in war by themselves. We have to rescue ourselves before it’s too late,” De Freige added.
