Darian warns from grave Israeli threat

JANUARY 19, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Mufti of the Lebanese Republic, Sheikh Abdul Latif Darian, on Monday sounded the alarm on the growing Israeli threat at the backdrop of yesterday’s Israeli assault on Hezbollah in Qneitra village of the Syrian Golan Heights.

The Mufti is currently on a visit to Doha, where he had held talks with the Qatari Minister of Islamic Awqaf and Affairs, Ghaith Moubarak.

“Israel is incessantly breaching Lebanon’s sovereignty and is working on terrifying security apparatuses along the Lebanese borders,” the Mufti said.

Darian briefed his Qatari hosts, including the Qatari Culture Minister Hamad Al Kawari, on Dar Al- Fatwa’s keenness on bolstering Muslim unity among Sunnis and Shiites, as well as on boosting national unity between Lebanese Muslims and Christians.
