JANUARY 9, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON)Minister of Education, Elias Bou Saab, reconfirmed on Friday his decision to keep all schools and educational institutes, both public and private, closed down across Lebanon until the end of this week due to the cold wave hitting Lebanon.
Storm Zina has taken over the country, causing snowfall at 200 meters and ice formations on the roads, particularly in the mountains.
Bou Saab warned that schools that decide to open their doors on Saturday were subject to liability.
The Minister then stated that everything goes back to normal starting upcoming Monday.
