JANUARY 7, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday uttered relief over the headway of the freshly-launched dialogue between Hezbollah and Future Movement, with the lawmakers at today’s weekly meeting quoting as saying that the second talks’ session between the two sides was “more than positive.”
“What was achieved during this dialogue’s second session was more than positive and went beyond the bilateral meetings, only to provide cover for national security and stability,” they said.
They added that today’s meeting also touched on the issue of sweet water investment, whereby Berri requested the Energy and Water House committee to host experts to study this dossier.
The Speaker also asked the committee tasked with following up on law enforcement to hold a press conference on forthcoming Monday to inform the public opinion of the result of its work and contacts.
