Berri concerned over institutions paralysis

FEBRUARY 18, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday voiced concerns over the paralysis of the constitutional institutions, stressing that this “abnormal” situation must not continue to prevail.

“Speaker Berri urged Prime Minister, Tammam Salam, to open an extraordinary sessions’ round of the Parliament in order that he should be able to hold legislative sessions,” lawmakers indicated following today’s weekly regular meeting with the Speaker.

They added that Berri was still waiting to explain his position from the mechanism of the governmental work.
