FEBRUARY 19, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Jibran Bassil, left Beirut on Thursday heading to southern America via London, within a tour that includes Cuba, Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela and Colombia, to meet with the Lebanese expatriates there.
Minister Bassil shall brief the Lebanese emigrants on the current situation in Lebanon.
In reply to a question about the meeting that took place yesterday [Wednesday] between “Change and Reform” Bloc Head, General Michel Aoun, and former Prime Minister, Saad Hariri, Bassil regarded the meeting as “good” falling in the context of the understanding process which they back.
“We spare no effort to ease the situation in the country,” said Bassil.
