MUSCAT: Bank Muscat, the flagship financial services provider in the sultanate, as part of its commitment to youth and promoting Oman as a sporting destination, has extended support to the fifth Asian Men’s and Women’s Beach Handball Championship to be played at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex (SQSC) from May 1 to 7.

The best teams in Asia are vying for top honours in the championship which serves as a qualifying tournament for the world handball championship. Oman is participating in the men’s category and will take on Vietnam in the opening match on Friday.
