APRIL 16, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Minister of Labor, Sejaan Azzi, on Thursday winded up an official visit to Jordan, whereby he met with the Chief of the Royal Court, Fayez Tarawneh, at the Royal Palace.
The pair discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries, in addition to the current situation in the Arab world.
Azzi reportedly sensed Jordan’s keenness on Lebanon’s security and stability, as well as on the necessity to carry out the long-awaited presidential polls, especially amid the current critical juncture.
Both sides also highlighted the importance of cooperation and coordination.
Azzi has met in Amman with Jordanian Prime Minister, Andullah Ensour, and with his counterpart Nidal al-Qattamin.
His meetings featured high on the condition of workforce in the two countries and the means to enhance expertise exchange, in addition to the dossier of the Syrian refugees and its reverberations on both Lebanon and Jordan.
