FEBRUARY 17, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Minister of Labor, Sejaan Azzi, on Tuesday launched, in a press conference held at his office in the Ministry, an electronic website devoted to combating the widespread child labor.
“The Ministry of Labor has already drafted a bill on ceasing human trafficking, while ISIS and al-Qaeda are burning people of different religions and sects,” Azzi indicated.
“The Ministry is now launching a new project relevant to the website (…) we want this site to be for children alone and not for the activities of the Minister of Labor,” he said.
He went on to say that no political news would be allowed on the site, which is confined to news related to children and social affairs.
“I hope that this site would be the home for the homeless,” he stressed, highlighting the obligation to turn this site into a forum to help children.
