Australia is cited as the third most popular international student destination in the world, with eight out of 100 top universities in the world being Australian and five out of 30 best student cities in the world located in Australia.

Australian universities feature in the top 50 ranked universities in the world in study areas like arts & humanities; clinical, pre-clinical & health; engineering & technology and life sciences.

Australian higher education institutions making a stand at Ghedex include Griffith University, Macquarie University, La Trobe University, University of Tasmania and UTS – Insearch (University of Technology, Sydney).

“Omanis coming to the University of Tasmania can enrol in specialised, career focused courses in areas such as marine engineering, aquaculture, biomedical science, environmental management, journalism, architecture, B2B marketing, and maritime & logistics management,” says Anthony McHugh, manager – international student recruitment, University of Tasmania.

Many Omani students have studied in New Zealand over the last ten years. All of New Zealand’s universities are ranked among the top universities worldwide, making it a great place to secure your future according to QS World University rankings.
