Arrival of 2 Qatari Air Force Planes carrying relief aids to those affected by the storm

JANUARY 11, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Two Qatari Air Force Planes arrived at Rafik Hariri International Airport on Sunday evening, coming from Doha, carrying relief aids on board to be distributed to Lebanese citizens and Syrian refugees who were affected by the storm that recently hit Lebanon.

Both planes carry 26 tons of clothing, blankets, tents, food, plastic insulators, in addition to 2 tons of drugs.

Qatari Ambassador to Beirut, Ali ben Hamad Al-Marri, who was present at the Airport, hoped that the aid “can reduce the scale of problems caused by this disaster,” while stressing on “the depth of the relationship between Qatar and Lebanon. ”
