Araji calls on Lebanese to rally around Army

JANUARY 26, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Deputy Asem Araji called on the Lebanese on Monday “to rally around the Lebanese Army in a bid to face terrorist groups,” stressing the need to adopt national cohesion to face the surrounding storms.

The lawmaker asked in an interview with the “Voice of Lebanon” radio the concerned sides to provide the Army with all kinds of weapons to confront terrorists, particularly aircraft and helicopters.

He backed the security plan in the Bekaa Valley, which suffered because of repeated abductions, stressing the need to implement the plan to be able to control the border.
