Araiji: Government at the brink

July 31, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Culture Minister, Raymond Araiji, said on Friday that the government is dangerously close to the precipice, but it was still possible to resolve the situation before the cabinet session scheduled for next Thursday.

“The government risks having its activities paralyzed and the crucial decision is to be taken by its chief,” he explained in an interview with the VDL (100.3-100.5), stressing that a caretaker government would be more productive than the current Cabinet, in witness of the paralysis and the inability to find solutions to certain crises.
