Muscat, Dr. Buthaina Shaaban, Founder and Chairman of Trustees Board of Wathiqat Watan, has affirmed that Syria’s participation in organizing the Oral History Conference held in Oman Monday, comes from believing in the importance of this conference in boosting the oral history culture.

Dr. Shaaban underlined the importance of the oral history not only in documenting events and facts, but also in continuing what Arab began in the past by recording the oral heritage of the life of Prophet Muhammad ‘Praise Be Upon Him’ (PBUH).
