SUDAN APPROVES FRIENDSHIP, CO-OPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH BELARUS
Sudan’s Council of Ministers (Cabinet), during a regular meeting here Thursday chaired by First Vice-President and National Prime Minister General Bakri Hassan Salih, approved a Friendship and Co-operation Agreement signed between Sudan and Belarus.
The agreement was presented by Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Ahmed Saad Omer, who said in a media statement issued later: “The agreement will support the political and economic relations between Sudan and Belarus and push further the joint co-operation.”
The Minister, who is also the Cabinet’s official spokesperson, said the Council also endorsed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministries of Justice of Sudan and Belarus on areas of development of legislative systems, and exchange of information and experiences. The MoU was presented by Justice Minister Dr Idris Jameel.
