CAIRO, Egypt, Nov 17 (NNN-MENA) – The eighth Kuwaiti week, dubbed “Kuwait in Egypt,” opened on Monday, under the auspices of Egyptian Prime Minister, Sharif Ismail, with 70 exhibitors from both countries taking part.

The event was opened by Egyptian Minister of Trade and Indsutry, Tareq Qabil – on behalf of the prime minister, Kuwait Ambassador to Egypt, Salem Al-Zamanan and Chairman of Al-Jabriya Exhibition Group, Ahmad Ismail Behbehani.

Speaking to KUNA on the sidelines of the opening ceremony, Ambassador Al-Zamanan said that, Kuwait and Egypt enjoy special deep-rooted relations that stood the test of time.

“The Kuwaiti week in Egypt will further cement bilateral ties in all fields and bring the two peoples closer to each other,” he pointed out.

The large number of Kuwaiti corporations and companies taking part in the event, indicate to show to the Egyptian people, the successful Kuwaiti experiments, Al-Zamanan noted.

The participants in the fair, to last until Nov 19 (Thursday), include the Martyr’s Office – an affiliate of the Amiri Diwan, the Civil Service Commission, the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Electricity and Water, the Ministry of Oil, the Ministry of Health, and Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED).– NNN-MENA
