Gaza: Within 24 hours.. 5 massacres claimed the lives of 43 martyrs

Gaza – Together – The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Thursday that the number of victims of the Israeli war on the Strip had risen to 34,305 martyrs and 77,293 injured.

She added that the occupation committed 5 massacres during the past 24 hours, claiming 43 martyrs and 64 injuries.

She pointed out that thousands of citizens are still missing under the rubble and on the roads, and that the occupation is preventing ambulance and rescue crews from reaching them.

First International Forum on Moroccan Sahara Opens in Dakhla

Dakhla – The inaugural International Forum on the Moroccan Sahara commenced on Wednesday in Dakhla, marking a significant gathering of academics and researchers from various disciplines.

Organized by the University Institute of African, Euro-Mediterranean, and Ibero-American Studies, in collaboration with the Rayonnement Center for Geopolitical and Strategic Studies, the forum’s thematic focus aligns with the visionary perspective outlined by HM King Mohammed VI.

The event, held in partnership with the National School of Commerce and Management (ENCG) of Dakhla and the Council of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab Region, aims to catalyze scholarly discourse and forward-looking analysis concerning the emerging geo-economic landscape in the region.

Mohamed Dhafer Kettani, the acting director of the University Institute, emphasized the forum’s role as an opportunity for experts and scholars to deliberate on strategies for supporting sustainable development in the Moroccan Sahara. He outlined three key axes of discussio
n: the Sahara’s pivotal role in the Afro-Atlantic and Sahel regions, geo-economic challenges and development prospects, and the geopolitical dynamics amidst security risks.

El Khattat Yanja, President of the Council of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab Region, underscored the forum’s significance in spotlighting His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s development vision, particularly for the Southern Provinces of the Kingdom and the broader African continent.

Meanwhile, Mohamed El Kihel, President of the Rayonnement Center, highlighted the forum’s focus on the Royal Initiative for the Atlantic, describing it as a transformative endeavor with economic, geopolitical, and strategic dimensions. He emphasized Morocco’s historical role and its enduring commitment to South-South cooperation under HM the King’s leadership.

Lakhdar Abdoulbaki Mohamed, director of the Nigerian Center for Arab Studies, commended Morocco’s integrated African policy and its efforts towards fostering peace and stability in the region. He praised the Initi
ative for the Atlantic for its potential to harness African resources and capacities in a cooperative framework.

The forum agenda encompasses a range of themes, including the Sahara’s role in regional dynamics, geo-economic challenges, geopolitical complexities, and Morocco’s relations with Sahel countries.

In a parallel development, three cooperation agreements were inked between the Rayonnement Center, ENCG Dakhla, the Nigerian Center for Arab Studies, and the Center for Research and Regional and International Studies in Chad, highlighting the commitment to scholarly collaboration and knowledge exchange beyond borders.

Officials Discuss Bus Rapid Transit Trial Operation in Amman-Zarqa Route


Amman: Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh, alongside Public Works and Housing Minister Maher Abu Saman and Transport Minister Wissam Tahtamouni, convened Thursday to deliberate the trial run of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) along the Zarqa-Amman route.

In their discussion, they underscored the necessity of a collaborative approach among the three entities for the trial operation of the BRT, which will be overseen by the municipality, leveraging its expertise in managing pilot routes within Amman.

They also explored enhancing coordination between the municipality and the Ministries of Works and Transport to address traffic congestion on King Abdullah II Street and devise solutions beneficial for both present and future traffic conditions.

A man was killed in a shooting in Lod

Lod – Ma’an – A man in his thirties was killed in Lod in a shooting crime at dawn on Thursday.

The Israeli police began investigating the circumstances of the incident in the city of Lod and searching for the perpetrators of the crime, in addition to collecting evidence from the crime scene.

The Criminal Investigation Department reviewed the forensic report in an attempt to determine the circumstances of the crime.

Gaza Civil Defense: We recovered 392 bodies in Nasser Complex, and 58% were unable to identify them.

Gaza – Together – The Gaza Civil Defense said on Thursday that it had recovered about 392 bodies in the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis after the occupation’s withdrawal, adding: 58% of them we could not identify.

The Civil Defense added: We do not know the reason for the presence of children’s bodies in the mass graves at Nasser Hospital, and we discovered traces of torture on the bodies of some martyrs.

He pointed out that the occupation committed field executions at Nasser Medical Complex, demanding the opening of an international investigation into these crimes.

He confirmed that the occupation buried a number of bodies in the Nasser complex in plastic bags at a depth of 3 meters, which accelerated their decomposition.

He said: We believe that the occupation buried at least 20 people alive in the Nasser Medical Complex.
