The new hypermarket was officially inaugurated by H E Sheikh Ali bin Mansoor al Busaidi, Wali of Saham, in the presence of several high-ranking officials from various government departments, other dignitaries, representatives from local business communities and distinguished guests.

Top officials of Smile Hypermarket were also present on the occasion. After the formal inauguration ceremony, Smile Hypermarket threw open its doors to the public amidst much fanfare.
