Jreij from Serail: Cabinet session dire necessity

November 18, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Information Minister Ramzi Jreij said that holding a cabinet session after the blasts that recently hit Burj Al Barajneh region “became a dire necessity, so as to activate the work of institutions and solve daily life matters of citizens.”

Jreij and Labor Minister Sejaan Azzi on Wednesday visited PM Tammam Salam at the Grand Serail.

Jreij said that a meeting would take place this evening over the possibility of adopting a solution to the trash crisis, in terms of deportation, explaining that PM Tammam Salam “will call for a cabinet session as soon as the solution is found.”

Separately, Salam met with the British Ambassador Hugo Shorter and discussed with him developments, with Shorter voicing his country’s support to Lebanon’s security and stability.

Amongst Salam’s visitors had been Tourism Minister Michel Pheraon and MP Ahmad Fatfat.
