EMBASSY PRESENTS KOREAN TRADITIONAL DANCE EVENT TO PROMOTE CULTURAL TIES

MUSCAT: Joining in to celebrate the 45th Oman National Day and to promote the people to people cultural exchanges, the Embassy of Korea brings to you ‘The Korean Traditional Dance’ by the Moonlight Love group on Tuesday, December 1 at 7.30pm at the Bosch Center, The American International School of Muscat.

Dance has been a fundamental part of Korean culture and society for millennia, from the royal courts to the festivals of the common people. The young and angelic dancers and musicians of Moonlight group have kept these traditions alive and will present a diverse overview of spirited, deeply-felt Korean dances and music at this event.

The embassy hopes that this event will be a good opportunity for the Omani people to enjoy the rich talent of the Korean artists and that it will be another bridge in bringing closer the two peoples. Since the purpose of this event is to promote people to people contacts and understanding, the admission is free. Everyone is welcomed with his/ her family and friends.

The doors to the auditorium will open at 6.30pm and the performance starts at 7.30pm. The embassy hopes that many from all walks of life will come and enjoy the wonders and beauty of the Korean culture.
