COOLER WEATHER, ISOLATED RAIN EXPECTED ACROSS THE SULTANATE
MUSCAT: The Directorate General of Meteorology said that several parts of Oman will receive isolated rain in the next 48 hours.
“Skies will be clear over most parts of the sultanate but will be overcast along the coastal areas and Musandam with chances of isolated rain,” said the Met office. “Skies will be partly cloudy over the governorates of Musandam, North Batinah, Buraimi and Dhahirah with isolated rain likely in evenings over the next 48 hours.”
On Sunday, Muscat witnessed cooler weather with the temperature dropping to 22°C.
“Along the coastal areas, winds will blow towards the northerly to northeasterly direction while it will be northerly to northwesterly over the rest of the sultanate.”
The condition of the sea will be moderate with maximum wave height reaching 2m.
