Abu Faour from Ain Al Tineh: For local understanding to solve pending issues

November 19, 2015 (REFERRING TO THE NATIONAL NEWS AGENCY – LEBANON) Public Health Minister Wael Abu Faour saw Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah’s latest initiative and former PM Saad Hariri’s response to it as a sort of local understanding springing from Lebanese initiatives that could help find solutions to pending Lebanese files.

Abu Faour on Thursday visited House Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain Al Tineh and discussed with him developments.

“Any local understanding might ensure foreign ambiences, yet the initiatives must be Lebanese,” said Abu Faour.

Separately, Berri received the British Ambassador Hugo Shorter who conveyed to him a letter from British PM David Cameron who condemned and deplored in his letter the twin blasts in Burj Al Barajneh. Cameron hailed at the same time the national sense of Lebanese and local political sides in reacting against the terrorist crimes.

He also voiced support to dialogue and to the reactivation of legislation, hoping that a solution would be reached in the presidential elections file.
